~~~~Research~~~
I have been doing my own research for over 25 years now, using remedies, flowers, homeopathy, etc...etc..etc..I am a person of faith..We know what the Bible says of faith, it is 'the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld...'(Hebrews 11:1)
So why do I bring this up you ask?? Well the reason is I had a very interesing conversation with our local pharmicist a while back about herbs...homeopathy...flowers etc..He claims to be a man of faith, but that faith has strong limits. By this I mean, even though he uses herbs, he has no faith in them. We started talking about homeopathy, because I wanted to know his opinion, boy did I ever get it! Like many professionals in the western medical field, he to professes that if there is no research done on a thing, then there is no proof it is worth using..buying..selling...promoting. One thing Mr. Pharmicist forgot to mention, and I wish I had is that research is rarely done on natural cures and preventions. Why ?? Well, another fact I wish I had remembered, is that the research is almot entirely funded by chemical, & drug companies. Why should they fund research that would bring people to stop using their product??!!
Also to be mentioned is the feed companies that fund chemical research..they squirm at lay people like myself who promote self education, and drawing outside of the lines.
I say..lets draw outside of the lines, and do our own research!!I have found time and again that my research finds some pretty dark facts about what alot of folks think to be good true information.
As a young person I had a button thatI wore on my Levi jacket that read.."Question Athority" well, I will not question God's athority, but just because folks do something doesn't mean it's right!
So most of the posts on this blog will be on subjects that are taken in faith...no research done here, except on my own family and farm, for fun. The expectation is the fun part..not knoing what will come of it..and then beholding what is...
