Amount??
It's been brought to my attention that I failed to write the amount of ACV per goat. Well, that mostly depends on you, and what you are able to do, as far as when you change water, fill up water etc. IN answer to the question, well, per 8 gallon bucket, I generally add one...glug..=) So you ask, how much is a glug?? A glug, also depends on how quick your wrist goes, how cold the jar is when you pour it in, and how hyper you are feeling at the time. My best guess is a glug is about 1/4 cup..If however you have a different watering system, you may need to use less of a glug, like a mini glug, or even a micro glug, it all depends upon your own system. Or like I told one sweet friend who was recently inquiring..a few sprinkles...

More on ACV
Well, the camera attachment for my computer seems to be having an additude problem, so my wonderful pictures will have to wait!!
Here's a few more amazing facts about Apple Cider Vinegar ...
~ For those of you who have wetheres, you may be happy to know that ACV is wonderful for your boys!! ACV has what is called malic acid. as brought out previously, the fermenting process creates natural enzymes, potassium, and trace minerals. Because the ACV is acidic, it acidifies urine!!So for the wethers, it helps cut down on urinary stones!! YIPPIEE!!!!

Apple Cidar Vinegar
So whats all the talk about ACV?
What's all the hype about RAW ACV???
Follow this blog this week, and you'll be drinking ACV
for breakfast..lunch...dinner...maybe...=)
The 1st thing that should be discussed is the importance of using raw vinegar.
Like with any other vegetable raw is best. With ACV, raw is always better.
Consider the "other" vinegar..through it's processing and distilling, it's been
stripped of everything beneficial. It can actually do more harm than good when
ingested, due to the fact that that it is DEAD instead of ALIVE!!!
With Raw ACV, it goes through two fermentation processes which produces
extra enzymes. Raw ACV has "The Mother of Vinegar". The mother is made
up of living nutrients and bacteria. You can actually see the mother in the
bottle !!
More on ACV tomorrow!!

~~~~Research~~~
I have been doing my own research for over 25 years now, using remedies, flowers, homeopathy, etc...etc..etc..I am a person of faith..We know what the Bible says of faith, it is 'the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld...'(Hebrews 11:1)
So why do I bring this up you ask?? Well the reason is I had a very interesing conversation with our local pharmicist a while back about herbs...homeopathy...flowers etc..He claims to be a man of faith, but that faith has strong limits. By this I mean, even though he uses herbs, he has no faith in them. We started talking about homeopathy, because I wanted to know his opinion, boy did I ever get it! Like many professionals in the western medical field, he to professes that if there is no research done on a thing, then there is no proof it is worth using..buying..selling...promoting. One thing Mr. Pharmicist forgot to mention, and I wish I had is that research is rarely done on natural cures and preventions. Why ?? Well, another fact I wish I had remembered, is that the research is almot entirely funded by chemical, & drug companies. Why should they fund research that would bring people to stop using their product??!!
Also to be mentioned is the feed companies that fund chemical research..they squirm at lay people like myself who promote self education, and drawing outside of the lines.
I say..lets draw outside of the lines, and do our own research!!I have found time and again that my research finds some pretty dark facts about what alot of folks think to be good true information.
As a young person I had a button thatI wore on my Levi jacket that read.."Question Athority" well, I will not question God's athority, but just because folks do something doesn't mean it's right!
So most of the posts on this blog will be on subjects that are taken in faith...no research done here, except on my own family and farm, for fun. The expectation is the fun part..not knoing what will come of it..and then beholding what is...
I have decited to have new changes on my blog!! I am gonna get back into blogging, meaning, inviting folks to check out my blog!
I have a new assistant (none other than my darling daughet Hannah) who has really awesome ideas, and I will be implementing them here! The first of them being a tip of the day. The tip will be mainly focused on goats, but other topics may arise as well. Along with her ideas, Hanna has a great camera, so new pics often as well!
