Family

What a great blessing family is..I am not talking blood reletives here, not talking about Mom's and sisters, and such. What I am talking is the family that is described in the Bible book of Mark 10:29-30 Jesus said: “Truly I say to YOU men, No one has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for my sake and for the sake of the good news who will not get a hundredfold now in this period of time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields, with persecutions, and in the coming system of things everlasting life.

Henrietta

My dearly beloved, rescued...a chicken..
Funny thing as I am the one always bringing home strays of one sort or another..and now he seems to be joining in the fun..Tony's chicken is a nice girl, she is very friendly, must have been someone's pet. She is going to be getting a new friend within the next week or so. So funny that Tony has a pet chicken!!

Yoshie

This is Yoshie camping this summer...She was very
naughty and wanted to wander, although all the other
Chihuahuas were off leash and stuck close to camp!!
It was a blast taking five chihuahuas camping!!!

Danny Boy

I just got home a bit ago...first thing I saw was Danny!! He came to the front door to greet me!! He looks almost all better, but can a dog actually have dark circles under his eyes?? He looks like he does!! He ate a bit of food tonight...WHEW!!!! Looks like he is back in business!!

Our Boy

Not sure if he's going to pull through...
He spent the last two days with me at the clinic,
bloodwork, xrays, fluids, more bloodwork, more xrays
more fluids. Four days now and he still won't eat.
I brought him home with fluids and meds for the
weekend. He has been with our family for so
long, since the beginning of time it seems.
I could go on and on about him, stories of
getting himself into trouble, or his favorite
hideout (under the covers of my bed with a stinky
old bone) or how he would take himself for a walk of to Nana's house when she lived here. It was about a mile or so away, on the other side of our tiny town
and he would go see Nana for a treat. He still went there after the flood, she had been gone for weeks and he was looking for her.. Or how the neighbor rescued him one day out of the back of some guy's truck, he was headed out of town with Danny in the back. Somehow he slipped his collar and had no tags on, after that his dog id read 'My name is Danny~Boy please take me to my home and the address =).What a great dog, I believe that all the time we spent loving him, all the time Jaime and I spent training him really paid off. He has become such a huge part of our lives.
Now he lays on the couch, doing nothing...I really hopes he pulls through..I love him so much, as does so many people...the world would be a sad place with out him...
